After Ludlow College and before I moved to London, I continued to be involved heavily with the activities of St. Laurences, Ludlow, where I was Assistant Choirmaster and Organist. When I wasn't conducting or playing, I'd sing bass in the choir, although my voice is still very flexible and I would regularly be seen helping out altos.

I write music, although I haven't for a long time now. I've composed both classical and contemporary pieces; one for piano and organ and many for computer games, a past-time which at one time funded my social life.
